Sandy Robertson and Paul Stephens have been providing a diverse range of financial services to the Bay Area for over 40 years, including investment banking, venture capital, private equity, investment advisory, and family offices services.

Founded in 1978, Robertson Stephens was a San Francisco-based boutique investment bank that focused primarily on technology companies. It was among the most active investment banks in the technology sector at the height of the internet boom, underwriting 600+ IPOs, raising over $20 Billion between 1978 and 2001. Robertson Stephens was the lead underwriter of some of the most prominent firms of the 1990's.

The two financial visionaries have continued to create additional successful financial institutions, including RS Investments, Francisco Partners, and Stephens Investment Management.
